How Do I Pay for Child Care?
4-C administers several child care assistance programs, in our 18 county service area, to help families pay for child care. Eligibility for these programs is based on income guidelines, family size and county of residence. Some of the programs have a waiting list for services.
4-C currently administers programs in these counties: Kentucky: Breckinridge, Bullitt, Grayson, Hardin, Henry, Jefferson, Larue, Marion, Meade, Oldham, Nelson, Shelby, Spencer, Trimble, Washington Indiana: Clark, Floyd, Harrison

To be eligible, parent(s) must meet one or more of the following guidelines: |
- Be working at least 20 hours every week and meet income requirements
- Be attending a college or an accredited secondary school or pursuing a GED and working at least 20 hours every week and meet income requirements
- Be a teen parent attending high school or pursuing a GED – income requirements do not apply
- Be a resident of one of the 15 Kentucky counties listed above
