Participants arriving 10 minutes late or leaving 10 minutes early are ineligible to receive a training certificate.
Training Record Information System (TRIS)
TRIS is the state-wide system designed to store and maintain individual training records for all early care and education professionals in the state of Kentucky. All training participants will be asked to complete and ECE-TRIS form.
Continuing Education Units are available for most trainings. CDA renewal requires 4.5 CEU’s. which is the equivalent to 45 clock hours of training over 3 years. CEU’s must be requested and paid for at the time of registration. CEU’s cannot be back dated.
Certificate Replacement Fee
There is a $10.00 fee for replacing lost training certificates. Training records are kept for a period of 5 years. Payment must be received prior to processing a replacement certificate.
Cancellation made at least 48 hours in advance will be isssued credit for other 4-C training. Please note that no refunds will be issued. All credits must be used by December 31 of the current year. If fewer than 10 participants are registered to attend a workshop, 4-C may choose to reschedule or cancel. Participants will be notified of the cancellation and given the option to attend another class, attend the rescheduled class, or credit will be issued.
Accomodating Children and Unregistered Participants
We are unable to accomodate children and unregistered participants during workshops. We believe children need well supervised play activities which are currently unavailable during professional development classes.
