SUMMARY:Family Child Care Community of Practice: Play Beyond the Playground
DESCRIPTION:Family Child Care Community of Practice Session 4: Play Beyond the Playground\nIt can be challenging to take young children outside—from naps to mealtimes and sunscreen to mittens\, a trip outdoors might feel like too much hassle. This COP is for in-home child care providers only. \nThe Family Child Care Community of Practice will meet monthly on the third Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 pm EST. The cost is free. Each COP is approved for 2 hours of ECE-TRIS credit.  \nFor more information on our Communities of Practice\, go to www.4cforkids.org/training/communities-of-practice  \nFor more information on Family Child Care\, go to www.4cforkids.org/for-providers/family-child-care-homes \nFor a downloadable flyer\, click here. \nCOPs in 2022 are being planned as virtual events with the potential for in person opportunities in the future.  \nThank you to our sponsors at the Prichard Committee for making this a free opportunity for our early childhood community. \nNotice: This is an online class.  Please make sure you include a valid email address when registering and that you have internet and email access at the time of the session. This session will be conducted via Zoom\, and you will be required to participate via video and audio through a computer\, phone\, or tablet.
