Follow a teacher as she guides caregivers toward understanding how to care for very young children and bring out their best.

Time with Toddlers replaces the bad rap that toddlers have as “terrible twos” and brings to life the joys, along with the dilemmas, of toddler caregiving. Working with toddlers in group settings is a complex task. It goes beyond a focus on health practices to considerations of culturally relevant programming and parent partnerships. This program offers a way of thinking about toddlers and some adult behaviors that let them know they belong, are loved, respected, and powerful. This training tool reminds viewers to delight in the typical behaviors of toddlers and to greet them with respect and appreciation

Participants will be mailed the DVD along with the assignment within 48 hours of registration. All DVDs are due back within 2 weeks.
