SUMMARY:Every Voice Counts: Supporting Language Development in Early Childhood
DESCRIPTION:Facilitator : Abigail Black \nChildren in early childhood classrooms often have a wide range of language abilities\, including children who are learning more than one language. This training helps educators recognize and support these differences\, including strategies for dual-language learners (DLLs)\, to ensure all children can participate\, communicate\, and thrive. Participants will explore practical ways to adapt activities\, use visual supports\, and collaborate with families and specialists to create a language-rich\, inclusive environment for every child. \nThis workshop is free thanks to the generous sponsorship by the Jefferson County Regional Collaborative through a grant from the Governor’s Office of Early Childhood. \nNotice: This is an in person class located at 4-C’s office.  \nLocation: Community Coordinated Child Care (4-C) \n908 S. 8th Street\, Suite 201\, Louisville\, KY 40203 (Map) \nLevel 1 CDA 2 CC 4 Audience-All \n2 Credit Hours \nBy attending a professional development opportunity\, you are entering an area where photography\, audio and video recording may occur.
