SUMMARY:Director Essentials: Compassion Fatigue and the Importance of Self-Care
DESCRIPTION:Facilitator  Angie Kinser: \nWorking with young children is a rewarding career\, but directors of child care centers also understand that it can be challenging and can lead to stress.  Unfortunately\, too much stress can negatively impact the staff that you lead as well as the children and families in your care. Together we will explore the differences between healthy and unhealthy stress and learn some strategies to reduce stress & fatigue\, set priorities and take care of YOU. \nThis workshop is free thanks to the generous sponsorship by the Jefferson County Regional Collaborative through a grant from the Governor’s Office of Early Childhood. \nNotice: This is an online class.  Please make sure you include a valid email address when registering and that you have internet and email access at the time of the training. This training will be conducted via Zoom\, and you will be required to participate via video and audio through a computer\, phone\, or tablet.
