DESCRIPTION:Facilitators: Darice Hancock \nThe Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course equips child care staff to recognize and care for a variety of first aid breathing and cardiac emergencies involving adults\, children\, and infants. It is designed for child care staff who need a certification that satisfies regulatory requirements. This class is taught in a blended learning format. The 2 hour online portion (accessed via mobile\, desktop\, or tablet) must be completed prior to attending the 2 hour instructor-led skills session. Upon successful completion\, a valid 2 year digital Red Cross certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED is issued. Participants will learn the early signs of maltreatment and the various injuries and conditions that may result from vigorous shaking\, slamming or impacting the head of an infant or young child. SUMMARY:Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Training and Certification
DESCRIPTION:Facilitators: Liz Walker \nThe Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course equips child care staff to recognize and care for a variety of first aid breathing and cardiac emergencies involving adults\, children\, and infants. It is designed for child care staff who need a certification that satisfies regulatory requirements. This class is taught in a blended learning format. The 2 hour online portion (accessed via mobile\, desktop\, or tablet) must be completed prior to attending the 2 hour instructor-led skills session. Upon successful completion\, a valid 2 year digital Red Cross certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED is issued. Once you have registered\, a link to the online portion of the class will be sent via email within 2 business days. The online portion must be completed before the class date.
