DESCRIPTION:This six hour professional development workshop provides overviews of child abuse/neglect\, developmentally appropriate practices\, and health & safety practices. It is required of all new child care staff within the first 90 days of hire. This class will be taught in two 2-hour zoom classes with homework in between for a total of 6 hours of content. You must be able to participate in both classes (Saturday\, August 15 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM and Saturday\, August 22 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM) and complete the required assignment to receive credit for this class. \nNotice: This is an online class.  Please make sure you include a valid email address when registering and that you have internet and email access at the time of the training.
