SUMMARY:Supporting Identity Development with Routines & Rituals
DESCRIPTION:Routines are a collection of daily practices that create encounters with children\, the adults\, and the environment. These encounters are helping children to understand who they are and form their identities. Knowing this means looking at our routines and interactions with multiple lenses. Join us for a discussion about individual identity and what this means for your work with children. The discussion will also help educators understand how identity can be shared collectively\, in addition\, to individually through well-constructed rituals that promote belonging\, respect\, inclusion and community.  \nNotice: This is an online class.  Please make sure you include a valid email address when registering and that you have internet and email access at the time of the training. We will explore the decline of play\, the impact and what we can do about it as educators! Please bring a copy of your classroom daily schedule. \nNotice: This is an online class.  Please make sure you include a valid email address when registering and that you have internet and email access at the time of the training. SUMMARY:Baby Talk! Attuning and attaching to your little ones
DESCRIPTION:Baby talk: attuning and attaching. Did you know that babies laugh before they talk? Research suggests that laughter is one of the earliest clues as to how humans experience the world.
