SUMMARY:Enhancing Parent Engagement in Early Childhood Education

The content focuses on engaging families of children aged birth to five and supports Kentucky All-Stars. The training focuses on building effective partnerships between educators and parenting adults to create a supportive and enriching environment for young children’s development.  \nIn this training\, educators will understand the importance of parent engagement and recognize parents’ critical role in a child’s early development. The participants will learn practical strategies and tools to enhance engagement with parenting adults to foster collaborative relationships\, ultimately contributing to a more holistic and supportive early childhood education experience for children. \n**Family engagement kits are available for providers in Jefferson County who complete the course. Child care providers can get one family engagement kit for each child in their class.
