Building Pre-Literacy Skills in Young Children
February 1 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
- This event has passed.
Facilitator: Jennifer Pruitt
Join us as we explore how to create classroom environments that encourage early literacy skills that lead to a love of reading and writing. Young children build their foundation for symbolic thinking from a very early age through pretend play, art, drawing, and constructing. Learn to understand the connection between young children’s natural play and early reading skills. Foster a rich environment of literacy in your preschool classroom.
