Connecting with Children through Interactions and Relationships Part 1

June 1, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

  • This event has passed.

In this Independent Study, participants will gain new knowledge and skills in ways to support children’s social and emotional development. Teachers play a huge role getting children prepared for kindergarten, and developing children’s emotional intelligence is no different. In addition, teachers will learn techniques to use that will allow children to have the confidence to express themselves and skills to be in relationships with caretakers and peers.

This is a two part Independent Study Module series that will be all online and will require basic computer skills to complete. Registration for “Part 2 Supporting Children in Social to Support Learning and Interacting with Peers through Nature Play” is not required to attend. Detailed instructions will be sent via email after registration closes. Participants will have two weeks to complete the module.

This workshop is free thanks to the generous sponsorship by the Jefferson County Community Early Childhood Council through a grant from the Governor’s Office of Early Childhood.
