Handling Challenging Behaviors by Building Resiliency

This training will cover an overview on promoting resilience in children and strategies to use in the classroom to assist with decreasing challenging behaviors. After discussing common challenging behaviors that take place in early childhood classrooms, participants will have the opportunity to participate in group discussions about strategies to support those children in the classroom. These topics will lead to deeper learning on how identifying behaviors and using effective and consistent strategies will foster connections and lead to regulation and resiliency.
