  • This event has passed.

Participants will complete a 1 hour Independent Study Module that will include the opportunity for free resources for the classroom to promote math proficiency. Teachers will gain skills on how to recognize the relationship between math and everyday life. This module will show how to incorporate math concepts in all learning centers that are meaningful to the children. Understanding the importance of math and how math can be incorporated into every lesson, teachers will be able to support children through intentional teaching moments and in when the opportunity presents itself. (Registration for Math Parts 2 and 3 not required to attend. Independent Study Module will be sent via email after registration closes. Participants will have two weeks to complete the module. Free resources must be picked up at 4-C’s main office at 1215 S. 3rd St on a date determined by the trainer.)

This workshop is free thanks to the generous sponsorship by the Jefferson County Community Early Childhood Council through a grant from the Governor’s Office of Early Childhood.
