Nature & Inquiry Community of Practice Session 3: How children’s natural selection of play supports social and emotional development
Learn how nature can support children’s social and emotional development and how children will naturally select materials that support their learning. Nature can lend itself to children who need to calm down and support self regulation. When using nature as a self regulation tool, children can develop a deep connection that can be used as a way to connect and disconnect when needed.
The Nature & Inquiry Community of Practice will meet monthly on the third Thursday from 12:30-2:30 pm EST through June 2022. The cost is free. Each COP is approved for 2 hours of ECE-TRIS credit.
