Nature & Inquiry Community of Practice Session 1: Reconnecting our Connection to Nature

When educators have a better understanding of the connection that they already have to the Earth, they can gain an appreciation for allowing children to have access to nature. This session will discuss why it is important to reconsider nature’s role in child development and the outcomes of when it’s forgotten, or overlooked as an frivolous extension of play and not learning.

The Nature & Inquiry Community of Practice will meet monthly on the third Thursday from 12:30-2:30 pm EST through June 2022. The cost is free. Each COP is approved for 2 hours of ECE-TRIS credit.
