Supporting STARS Series: Emergent Curriculum in Early Childhood Settings

July 16, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

  • This event has passed.

Early childhood professionals will learn strategies to implement Emergent Curriculum by being introduced to the five-step cycle: observe, reflect, respond, interpret, and plan. By the end of the session the educators will be able to design experiences and offer invitations to play that are tailored to the needs of the children using loving observation and authentic assessment.

This workshop is free thanks to the generous sponsorship by the Jefferson County Community Early Childhood Council through a grant from the Governor’s Office of Early Childhood.

Notice: This is an online class.  Please make sure you include a valid email address when registering and that you have internet and email access at the time of the training. This training will be conducted via Zoom, and you will be required to participate via video and audio through a computer, phone, or tablet. All classes are on Eastern Standard Time.
