May 16, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

  • This event has passed.

In this training session the educators will learn to embed mathematical concepts in their day to day life in their classrooms and curriculum. Children are drawn to the natural world and organic materials. The educators will learn to look closely at how children have an innate desire to learn math concepts and how to use materials from nature to develop and enhance their mathematical learning. Participants must complete a written assignment to receive the full 3 hours of credit.

This workshop is free thanks to the generous sponsorship by the Jefferson County Community Early Childhood Council through a grant from the Governor’s Office of Early Childhood.
