Strategies for Family Engagement

This course will provide strategies regarding family engagement, communication, supports, and resources. During this course programs and educators will learn approaches for implementing family engagement activities that promote children’s development and learning. Participants will learn various strategies for two-way communication as well as sharing community resources with families.

Participants will complete activities regarding collaborating with families, shared goal setting, and family nights, as well as engaging families from home.

This course is an interactive e-learning experience, and participants will need access to a computer or tablet that is connected to the internet. You will complete this module at your own pace, working through a variety of activities (videos, articles, short-answer responses, assignments, quizzes, etc.).
