It is hard for educators to take time to pause and observe children during our busy daily schedules, but it is observation that makes us better at assessment and planning meaningful activities. In this eCourse, participants will practice their observation skills by zooming in to the details of children’s learning and then using the “Thinking Lens” as a reflective tool to deepen understanding. Learn how to pause, observe, and reflect and make it a part of your everyday practice!

This course is an interactive e-learning experience, and participants will need access to a computer or tablet that is connected to the internet. You will complete this module at your own pace, working through a variety of activities (videos, articles, short-answer responses, assignments, quizzes, etc.).
