Connect the Dots: The Brain Behind Behavior
November 14 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Facilitator : Liz Walker
Through the Connect the Dots framework, educators will discover the science behind brain states, the power of co-regulation, and practical strategies for creating environments where children feel safe, connected, and ready to learn. Participants will examine the impact of adult-child relationships, positive discipline, supportive environments, intentional language, and recognizing each child’s unique strengths. By the end of this training, educators will leave with a deeper understanding of how staying regulated themselves can help children develop the executive functioning, emotional regulation, and problem-solving skills needed for lifelong success.
