Creative Curriculum Overview

The Creative Curriculum® is a play-based curriculum that fosters the whole child’s development through small and large group activities, an engaging environment, and positive relationships. The curriculum encourages critical thinking skills, learning through investigations, and project-based learning. In this training, educators will learn and understand the basic principles of the curriculum and strategies for implementing the curriculum in the classroom. The session will include learning about the Developmental Framework and Objectives, and the 4-step cycle (observe, respond, reflect, and plan). Participants will gain understanding regarding how to utilize the Creative Curriculum resources and guides to plan for and facilitate learning experiences.
