Director Essentials: Nature’s Nurture, Supporting Social and Emotional Growth Outdoors

Nature offers a calming and stimulating environment that fosters essential social and emotional skills in young children. This training will explore how outdoor experiences can help children build self-regulation, empathy, confidence, and teamwork. Participants will discover strategies to create nature-based activities that encourage cooperative play, emotional resilience, and meaningful connections with peers and the natural world. Leave inspired to transform outdoor spaces into nurturing environments where children can grow socially and emotionally while enjoying the benefits of nature.

Notice: This is an online class.  Please make sure you include a valid email address when registering and that you have internet and email access at the time of the training. This training will be conducted via Zoom, and you will be required to participate via video and audio through a computer, phone, or tablet. All classes are on Eastern Standard Time.
