Director Essentials: Strengthening Families Overview

Participants will understand how to support and engage families in building their knowledge of the five protective factors: parental resilience, social connections, knowledge of parenting and child development, and concrete supports, including children’s social-emotional competence. Participants will be able to identify and describe the five protective factors and explain how everyday actions can support families in building them.

This workshop is free thanks to the generous sponsorship by the Jefferson County Regional Collaborative through a grant from the Governor’s Office of Early Childhood.

Notice: This is an online class.  Please make sure you include a valid email address when registering and that you have internet and email access at the time of the training. This training will be conducted via Zoom, and you will be required to participate via video and audio through a computer, phone, or tablet. All classes are on Eastern Standard Time.
