Director Essentials: The Director’s Role of Managing and Leading Staff

In this training session, participants will discuss the Director’s role when managing and leading staff. They will learn the difference between managing and leading, and how to balance both leadership competencies and management tasks. The participants will participate in self-assessment activities to move them beyond the management of everyday tasks to continue to grow as leaders. Participants will learn strategies to use to be a leader who inspires others to participate in the program’s vision.
