Kentucky Strengthening Families Overview for Service Providers

Participants will understand how to support and engage families in building their knowledge on the five protective factors: parental resilience, social connections, knowledge of parenting and child development, and concrete supports, including social emotional competence of children. Participants will be able to identify and describe the five protective factors and identify how everyday actions can support families in building these protective factors.

This workshop is free thanks to the generous sponsorship by Metro United Way through the American Rescue Plan Act.
