This training session will provide an in-depth exploration of various documentation forms, including displays, documentation panels, and learning stories. We will delve into the purpose of documentation in “making learning visible” and examine the needs and expectations of different audiences including families, center visitors, and the children themselves. Participants will engage in interactive small group discussions and activities, emphasizing the importance of documentation as an essential tool in the observation and assessment process that can guide educators in lesson planning. Additionally, participants will collaborate to create a documentation display board, applying the principles and techniques covered in the training.
