August 30, 2022 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Nature is a necessity. Research tells us that we are happier, healthier, more socially engaged and more creative when nature is a part of our daily lives. These benefits apply to all ages and abilities. This session will go in depth about offering physical activities for children with special needs in the outdoor world. Understanding how to offer activities for children with different abilities are essential in offering inclusive nature-based spaces.
This workshop is free thanks to the generous sponsorship by the Jefferson County Regional Collaborative through a grant from the Governor’s Office of Early Childhood.
