Nature as the Nurturer
June 6, 2023 @ 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm
- This event has passed.
Facilitator Liz Walker:
Spending time in nature can be a valuable method of self-care. Educators will explore and learn about the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of spending time in nature to nurture their well-being. In addition, educators will reflect in small groups on their nature-based experiences, including how they felt and what they learned, to help them integrate nature experiences for themselves, the children, and the families they serve.
This workshop is free thanks to the generous sponsorship by the Jefferson County Community Early Childhood Council through a grant from the Governor’s Office of Early Childhood.
