February 4 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
- This event has passed.
Facilitator: Mavie Leon- Diaz
This interactive training invites educators to explore the foundational principles of play-based learning and its powerful impact on early childhood development. Through reflection, discussion, observation, and hands-on activities, participants will uncover how play nurtures curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving. Educators will examine the adult’s role in guiding and extending children’s thinking while planning intentional play experiences that honor each child’s needs, interests, and sense of belonging. Participants will leave with practical ideas to create inclusive, engaging environments that support the whole child.
This workshop is free thanks to the generous sponsorship by the Jefferson County Regional Collaborative through a grant from the Governor’s Office of Early Childhood.
