Supporting Identity Development with Routines & Rituals
March 20, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am
- This event has passed.
Routines are a collection of daily practices that create encounters with children, the adults, and the environment. These encounters are helping children to understand who they are and form their identities. Knowing this means looking at our routines and interactions with multiple lenses. Join us for a discussion about individual identity and what this means for your work with children. The discussion will also help educators understand how identity can be shared collectively, in addition, to individually through well-constructed rituals that promote belonging, respect, inclusion and community.
