The Hundred Languages of Children in Art Exploration
February 24, 2025 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
- This event has passed.
Facilitator: Jennifer Pruitt
Participants will explore the Reggio Emilia concept of “the hundred languages of children” by pondering the many ways that children explore different art materials. By learning the many affordances of materials, children learn how to use them to convey their thoughts and ideas. We will engage in discussion about how to provide opportunities for children to explore and communicate through different art media and play invitations in the classroom. Children are naturally creative beings and deserve to learn and express themselves in multiple ways!
