This addition to the Loose Parts book series focuses on the importance of play while providing appropriate accommodations to support young children with diverse abilities. The book contains photographs and real stories of children engaged in a variety of loose parts play, while including descriptions of accommodations and how it supports child development. By reading this book and completing this eCourse, participants will learn how to be more intentional when considering the tools and materials they offer children and how to create and design an environment that supports children regardless of their abilities. During this course the participant will learn creative ideas for the environments, promoting engagement, and providing accommodations, through the beautiful photographs and inspirational stories in this book. You will learn how to provide a space where children can not only play, engage, and explore but where they can feel valued and supported.

Participants are responsible for obtaining the books either from the public library or by purchasing their own books. The price covers only the cost of the training module and credit hours.
