Pushing Beyond the 5 Senses

Sensory input is often limited to the 5 senses but we have more than five! This eCourse will provide educators with knowledge about how to integrate big body movement and balance to properly develop the other 2 senses that we have, the proprioceptive and vestibular senses, that help children learn. Educators will read an article, watch some short videos, and learn how all of these senses are important and how we can help a child that may be showing signs of an under-developed vestibular & proprioceptive system.

This course is an interactive e-learning experience, and participants will need access to a computer or tablet that is connected to the internet. You will complete this module at your own pace, working through a variety of activities (videos, articles, short-answer responses, assignments, quizzes, etc.).
