Self Care and Professionalism (Part One)
Self-care is important for early care and education professionals. Self-care plays a vital role in keeping us healthy both physically and mentally. When self-care is prioritized, early care and education professionals will have better performance in the classroom, leading to better outcomes for children. During this 2-hour eCourse, participants will watch a video and read an article to learn strategies for self-care problem solving. They will reflect on their strengths and areas of growth and then develop an action plan to begin practicing self-care strategies to ensure they respond to common stressors appropriately. This 2-hour eCourse is part 1 of a 2 part series.
This course is an interactive e-learning experience, and participants will need access to a computer or tablet that is connected to the internet. You will complete this module at your own pace, working through a variety of activities (videos, articles, short-answer responses, assignments, quizzes, etc.).
