Supporting Early Brain Development with Responsive Caregiving

It is important for adults to have consistent back and forth exchanges with children. Caregivers should respond when a child is seeking their attention. Responsive caregiving fosters trust and emotional security and helps children learn. In this eCourse, participants will watch videos and read articles regarding strategies for nurturing and supporting early brain development through responsive caregiving. Participants will learn about toxic stress and will brainstorm strategies to prevent and help young children cope with toxic stress.

This course is an interactive e-learning experience, and participants will need access to a computer or tablet that is connected to the internet. You will complete this module at your own pace, working through a variety of activities (videos, articles, short-answer responses, assignments, quizzes, etc.).

Please make sure that the email address you enter is correct. A link to the course will be sent via email.
