4-C has a new advocate and a powerful one at that!

Child Advocate

Our Children’s Advocacy Day Rally was a huge success and drew more than 1300 advocates from across the state! The governor joined the rally on the capitol steps and spoke to the crowd in support of our youngest citizens.

Avery (4th grader and niece of Trish Kite-Hannon) met with state officials to talk about childhood obesity and bullying. She even delivered Children’s Dollars from her entire 4th grade class to share their messages. In addition, she was Representative Tim Moore’s page in House during the full session and the entire House of Representatives sang Happy Birthday to her.  It was quite impressive.

We’re so proud of our youngest new advocate and proud of her Aunt too for passing down the knowledge and power of advocacy to her niece!
