Teaching with Respect

October 13, 2020 @ 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm

  • This event has passed.

Using group discussion, role play and reflective questions, participants will learn what teaching with respect means, looks like and why it is important. Teaching with respect, in part, requires knowing child growth and development and understanding how that is connected to having realistic expectations for children. Additionally, participants will practice strategies such as using encouragement instead of praise, to implement teaching with respect.
