Self Care and Professionalism (Part Two)
It is important for early care and education professionals to practice self-care strategies daily. When self-care is prioritized early care and education professionals will have better performance in the classroom, leading to better outcomes for children. During this 1-hour eCourse, participants will build upon their knowledge and skills that they learned in part 1 by watching a series of videos exploring and participating in different types of stretching techniques to encourage softening and flexibility. Each of these strategies can be done on their own, during a meeting, or in the classroom. Participants will reflect on the role self-care plays in maintaining professionalism and why it is important for early care and education professionals to practice daily. This 1-hour training is part 2 of a 2-part series.
This course is an interactive e-learning experience, and participants will need access to a computer or tablet that is connected to the internet. You will complete this module at your own pace, working through a variety of activities (videos, articles, short-answer responses, assignments, quizzes, etc.).
