Facilitator: Angie Kinser
Language and communication development in early childhood is important as it serves as the foundation for a child’s overall cognitive, social, and emotional well-being. In this training, educators will learn how to infuse playfulness into language and communication development. Participants will learn how to create enriching and effective play-based learning experiences and environments to support language and communication development. The training sessions will include a mix of mini-lectures, group discussions, and practical activities. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on exercises to reinforce their understanding and application of the concepts covered.
This workshop is free thanks to the generous sponsorship by the Jefferson County Regional Collaborative through a grant from the Governor’s Office of Early Childhood.
