- This event has passed.
Facilitator: Angie Kinser
The Creative Curriculum® is a play-based curriculum that fosters the whole child’s development through small and large group activities, an engaging environment, and positive relationships. The curriculum fosters critical thinking skills, promotes learning through investigations, and encourages project-based learning. In this training, educators will learn and understand the fundamental principles of the curriculum and strategies for implementing it in the classroom. The session will include learning about the Developmental Framework and Objectives, and the 4-step cycle (observe, respond, reflect, and plan). Participants will gain an understanding of how to utilize the Creative Curriculum resources and guides to plan for and facilitate learning experiences.
This workshop is free thanks to the generous sponsorship by the Jefferson County Regional Collaborative through a grant from the Governor’s Office of Early Childhood.
