Director Essentials: Strengthening Your Child Care Business, Financial Management, and Shared Services Tools

Strong fiscal and operational practices are the foundation of a thriving child care program. This training is designed to help program leaders build and sustain financially healthy businesses that support quality care and improved outcomes for children.
Participants will learn how to interpret key financial reports, implement internal controls, and make informed decisions to strengthen the fiscal health of their programs. The session will also introduce the Kentucky Shared Services platform, a valuable online resource developed specifically for child care providers. Explore tools for budgeting, hiring, family engagement, policy development, and more, designed to save time, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.
