Uso y Comprensión del ASQ-3 y ASQ:SE: Herramientas de Evaluación del Desarrollo en la Primera Infancia

En esta capacitación, los educadores conocerán en profundidad el ASQ-3 y el ASQ:SE (Cuestionarios de Edades y Etapas), herramientas clave para la detección del desarrollo infantil. Se abordará el propósito y la importancia de las evaluaciones del desarrollo, incluyendo cómo reconocer los hitos del desarrollo, identificar posibles áreas de preocupación y determinar cuándo es necesario realizar una derivación o buscar intervención temprana. Los participantes aprenderán a administrar y calificar correctamente el ASQ-3 y el ASQ:SE, interpretar los resultados y colaborar de manera efectiva con las familias durante todo el proceso de evaluación y seguimiento. A través de la práctica y el intercambio de ideas, los educadores fortalecerán su confianza en el uso de estas herramientas como apoyo al desarrollo integral de los niños y como una manera de promover la participación de las familias.

In this training, educators will gain a thorough understanding of the ASQ-3 and ASQ:SE (Ages & Stages Questionnaires), essential tools for developmental screening in early childhood. The session will emphasize the purpose and importance of screening, including recognizing developmental milestones, identifying potential areas of concern, and determining when referrals or early intervention may be needed. Participants will learn how to properly administer and score the ASQ-3 and ASQ:SE, accurately interpret results, and engage families as active partners throughout the screening and referral process. Through interactive practice and guided discussions, educators will build confidence in using these tools to support children’s developmental success and to strengthen meaningful family engagement.
