Building the Foundation for Lifelong Learning
April 30 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Facilitator : Mavie Leon-Diaz
What is the teacher’s role in supporting children’s success across all developmental domains? Participants will explore how curiosity, persistence, initiative, creativity, problem-solving, and self-regulation develop from birth through age five. Educators will examine how play-based experiences, responsive interactions, and intentional learning environments strengthen children’s approaches to learning. Practical strategies will be shared to support ATL skills through daily routines, classroom activities, and adult guidance.
This workshop is free thanks to the generous sponsorship by the Jefferson County Regional Collaborative through a grant from the Governor’s Office of Early Childhood.
