This book will help educators turn their everyday interactions into Powerful Interactions. A Powerful Interaction is an intentional, purposeful, culturally responsive exchange between a teacher and a child that can have a significant and highly positive impact on learning. Reading this book and completing this course will teach educators 3 steps they can embed in their daily work with children to transform and enhance the quality of their interactions with children. Using interactions intentionally to engage children makes a difference in what they learn about themselves, others, and the world. This means that every interaction can positively impact how children feel about themselves and about learning, as well as what and how they learn.
Participants are responsible for obtaining the books either from the public library or by purchasing their own books. The price covers only the cost of the training module and credit hours.
