An Emergent Curriculum for Emerging Learners

Are you fascinated by children’s thinking? Do you want to become more equitable in your practice? If you answered yes to one of the questions then this training is just for you! This session will encourage teachers to explore more of the ideas that are provoked by children. When children learn what they want to learn about, they find their love for learning. This training will explore many different ways that educators can achieve a curriculum that supports all emerging learners in the class. Reflection will also be used to facilitate discussion and to get educators thinking of how to use children’s interest as a part of the curriculum while offering equitable practices.

Notice: This is an online class.  Please make sure you include a valid email address when registering and that you have internet and email access at the time of the training. This training will be conducted via Zoom, and you will be required to participate via video and audio through a computer, phone, or tablet. All classes are on Eastern Standard Time.
