Compassion Fatigue and the Importance of Self Care
January 16 @ 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm
- This event has passed.
Facilitator: Courtney Pearce
Working with young children is a rewarding career, but teachers also understand that it can be challenging and can lead to stress. Unfortunately, too much stress can negatively impact your role in the classroom as well as the children and families in your care. Together we will explore the differences between healthy and unhealthy stress and learn some strategies to reduce stress & fatigue, set priorities and take care of YOU.
This workshop is free thanks to the generous sponsorship by the Jefferson County Regional Collaborative through a grant from the Governor’s Office of Early Childhood.
