Have you been wanting to support your children in talking about their racial or cultural identity, but you’re unsure of where to start? Are you worried that you might say the wrong thing or run out words? Courageous Conversations will give you the support, tools and information needed to join in the discussion with your children, their families and other early childhood professionals. This short but powerful session will provide you with a starting place by sharing real live classroom reflections, reading a researched based article, and exploring other resources that will support you on your journey. By the end of the session, you’ll have greater knowledge, more language to use and tools which will support you in having a courageous conversation within your classroom, center, school or home!

Notice: This is an online class.  Please make sure you include a valid email address when registering and that you have internet and email access at the time of the training. This training will be conducted via Zoom, and you will be required to participate via video and audio through a computer, phone, or tablet.
