Director Essentials: Leading More Engaging and Productive Meetings
December 13 @ 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm

Facilitator Angie Kinser:
Being skilled in facilitating meetings is essential for effective child care program management. Directors use a variety of meetings as a primary mode for communicating information, identifying and solving problems, and decision-making. During this training session, directors will learn practical tips and techniques to help them lead more engaging and productive meetings. We will discuss strategies to effectively facilitate meetings and make the best use of everyone’s time. Participants will learn the essential elements of an effective meeting, different types of meetings, the role group dynamics play, and the importance of evaluating the meeting.
This workshop is free thanks to the generous sponsorship by the Jefferson County Regional Collaborative through a grant from the Governor’s Office of Early Childhood.
