Director Essentials – Partnering with Parents in the New Age

Child care directors have expressed increasing challenge and frustration in regard to partnering, communicating, and engaging with today’s parents. During the pandemic, it was necessary for programs to limit outside access to their day-to-day programming. This meant that family engagement opportunities were shelved and we lost those ever important face to face check in opportunities. As a positive, it opened the doors to some innovative practices with communication. Many centers now have a mixed delivery model for interaction with families. This session will focus on making the most of family engagement in our new age using both in-person and tech strategies.
This workshop is free thanks to the generous sponsorship by the Jefferson County Regional Collaborative through a grant from the Governor’s Office of Early Childhood.

This training will be conducted via Zoom, and you will be required to participate via video and audio through a computer, phone, or tablet. All classes are on Eastern Standard Time.
